Preparing event exports for a CLV assessment
Clean exports shorten a customer lifetime value assessment more than any fancy chart. Before our kickoff we ask for a short list of fields and a note on timezone.
Minimum useful fields
- Anonymous user or device key
- Install or registration timestamp
- Acquisition source as your team defines it
- Purchase or renewal timestamp and net amount
- Refund timestamp when applicable
Timezone and currency
Pick one timezone for the study—Asia/Bangkok is common for our local clients—and state the currency of amounts. Mixing USD cents with THB baht without a flag creates false payback stories.
