Affinity mapping without creepy profiles

Aggregate content affinity can guide placement while keeping personal profiles light.

Affinity work does not require invasive individual dossiers. Cohort-level patterns—new users vs returning, region, plan tier—often unlock better module placement.

Focus on content attributes and sequences: which formats lead into help searches, which topics precede upgrade views, which modules are opened then immediately closed.

Keep retention windows short for raw event stores and prefer aggregated readouts for day-to-day decisions.

If legal or privacy leads need a walkthrough, we document what is stored, what is aggregated, and what never leaves the analytics warehouse.
